- There will be no classes during recess week, classes will resume after recess week.
- A forfeit of S$1 will be imposed on participants who fail to show up. This is to cover our material costs.
- Those who have signed up but failed to turn up during the first session are deemed to have given up. In which case other members will be admitted to the course.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and seek your kind understanding.

JAPANESE CONVERSATIONAL WORKSHOP
Attention all Japanese lovers!!
This workshop is perfect for Japanese learners who want to improve their Japanese oral skills! What’s more, this interactive workshop will provide you a chance to know more people, not to mention all the evenings of fun and laughter! Hah!
This workshop is conducted by NTU’s very own students! Our 2 instructors and 2 assistants come from diverse backgrounds:
(A) Native Japanese speakers
- Okazaki Masaaki -- a half-Japanese who studied in pure Japanese-speaking primary and secondary school in Thailand. He is this year’s NTU freshman and he speaks perfect English as well.
- Kitaura Hiroki --an exchange student from Soka University, Japan.
(B) Accomplished learners
- Yang Peidong -- JLPT 1, overseas exchange experience in Kansai Gaidai University, Japan.
- Yanto Jakop – JLPT 2, Champion of the Japanese Speech Contest 2006 organized by the Japanese Association Singapore (シンガポール日本人会).
CCONTENTS:
This workshop focuses on daily conversations that are surely useful but not so much taught in NTU LJXX course. We also provide specials like sessions on Arubaito language and honorific Japanese. You are promised with interesting course materials!
If you dream to speak native-like informal Japanese, there is no reason why you should hesitate to join.
DATE & TIME:-
- 4 consecutive Tuesdays, Sept 12th, 19th, 26th and Oct 3rd
- Session A: 6-7pm
- Session B: 7-8pm
VENUE:-
- *UPDATED* TR 18
FEE & PAYMENT METHOD:-
- $3 per session (total of $12 payable for the entire workshop, but balance refundable should you decide to discontinue after attending the 1st session)
- by cash (you will be further instructed on the mode of payment upon receiving our confirmation email)

Hello and welcome to the NTU Japanese Appreciation Club's new web site. We've decided to move from our old web site as we believe this will not only keep members updated but also facilitates interaction and feedback between our members.Please feel free to leave comments or e-mail us if you have any queries or suggestions.
As new members of our club, I'm sure you are looking forward to our club's events. The upcoming event that our club will be organising will be a Japanese Conversational Workshop, details will be posted the the site as soon as we are done with the administrative process.
Another event to look forward to will be our club's signature Sushi Making Course which will be happening 2 weeks after sem break!
