Manga drawing workshop + Subcom recruitment
Tuesday, August 21, 2007
Konbanwa minna-san~This is the newly appointed Publications Officer who will now be in charge of maintaining this website. I confess to be unfamiliar with using blogspot, so pardon me while I try to tinker around a bit with this and figure stuff out.
To begin with, JAC will be holding its first mini event of this semester, which is the Manga Drawing Workshop, this coming Monday, the 27th of August, from 7pm-10pm. No fees are required, no registration required, just your presence. It's a bit on short notice, but your attendance at the workshop would be greatly appreciated. Tentatively, the venue has yet to be decided, but when it has, it will be updated here.
Next, we will be holding our sub-committee recruitment this week as well as next week. The first sub-com recruitment drive will be on this coming Thursday and Friday, 23rd and 24th of August, from 5.30-9.30pm at TR 11, NS4-4. Any member who is interested in joining the sub-com may come down during this time to be interviewed for the positions.
Positions available include:
Publicity - 8
Publications - 6
Business Management - 4
Special Projects - 22
Our next round of sub-com recruitment would be on the following Thursday and Friday, the 30th and 31st of August, from 5.30-9.30pm at TR 11, NS4-4.
Do check out this website for more details regarding any upcoming events. ^-^
